OVERVIEW

The Michelin Defender T+H is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Michelin offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction and the zigzag sipes of the Intellisipe Technology grip the road remarkable in dry, wet and winter conditions. The silica-based compound further enhances the all season performing ability. The circumferential and lateral tread grooves increase the wet weather traction and avoid dangerous hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from beneath the tire footprint. A safer driving experience is guaranteed all year thanks to the tire's compound and tread design.

The model's MaxTouch Construction and its Evertread compound combined offer a longer lasting tread life. The MaxTouch Construction optimizes the tread pattern and tire footprint to ensure that the driving pressure is equally spread out across the tread area. This even distribution of the force of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid uneven tread patterns from forming on the tread area. The Evertread compound is an advanced, stronger tire compound that slows down the tread wear rate. The longer lasting tread and even wear enable the tire to be used for a longer period of time and extend its life.
