OVERVIEW

The Michelin CrossClimate+ is a performance and high performance, all weather tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Michelin offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with H and V speed rated sizes of this model.

The tire received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol, which is awarded to tires capable of securely performing in harsher winter weather. The model uses its detailed directional pattern and all weather compound to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. This combination enhances the tire's grip on the road surface in all weather conditions. The tread elements enhance the number of biting edges, while the compound boosts the rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The tread's one zigzag circumferential and numerous angled lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint, avoiding hydroplaning by maintaining the ideal surface contact throughout the drive.

The tread design also enhances the model's controllability. The tread's constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. This results in the driver's full control over the vehicle throughout its performance. The directional pattern, with the angled siping detail, upgrades the braking ability. The CrossClimate+ upgrades the high speed durability with the stronger construction. The reinforced steel belt structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the high speed driving pressure affecting the model. The better durability prevents the shape's deformation under the high speed pressure, which enables the tire to securely perform at its greatest high speed capability throughout the drive.
