OVERVIEW
The Maxxis Zilla MU02 is a mud terrain, all season tire created for ATVs and UTVs. This model is specially designed for the vehicle's rear axle.
The tread utilizes the claw-shaped lugs to establish a firm grip with the terrain surface. This enables it to dominate soft, loose, and uneven terrains with ease. It utilizes specially designed, hollowed lugs that form a special directional tread pattern. The tread elements are separated into smaller parts, which further increase the number of biting edges available on the tread. This makes the tire a great choice for challenging deep mud and loose dirt terrains.
The lugs are slightly curved to boost the tire's self cleaning ability. Thanks to the open shoulder design, the tread elements channel mud and dirt away from the footprint. This enables the tread elements to maintain constant traction with the terrain surface. The carefully designed tread eliminates rocks, not allowing them from getting stuck between the tread elements. It prevents them from drilling into the tread or casing, guaranteeing a secure and reliable driving experience by solving the problem of stone retention.
The directional lugs are specially arranged to improve the tire's controllability. The tire offers exceptional cornering with lugs that extend to the sidewalls. Each of the lugs feature a hollowed design to boost the tire's gripping ability in off-road conditions. The tire remains fully controllable even while taking sharp turns on the track. This is especially important for driving in ruts when it is harder to maneuver the vehicle.
