OVERVIEW
The Maxtrek SU-800 A/T is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs, commercial vans, and light trucks.
The tread design and all season tire compound enhance the all weather traction. The large tread elements firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions and ensure a safer driving experience. The compound does not lose its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread elements maintain their road gripping ability. The tread design enhances the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint, and they prevent snow from blocking the tire's contact with the road surface. The constant road contact allows the tire to safely perform to its best ability in all weather.
The tread design also ensures excellent all terrain traction. The pattern's large staggered blocks, wide grooves, and open shoulder design manage to conquer all soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces and promote a secure drive. The staggered tread blocks find good road grip on all surfaces, and ensure exceptional performance on all terrains with ease. The high void ratio and staggered blocks keep the footprint clean by eliminating mud and ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. This maintains the constant road contact and prevents stone retention from damaging the tire's casing.
The SU-800 A/T provides great durability. The model's internal structure features twin steel belts that prevent the tire from deforming under the driving pressure affecting it. As the tire maintains its optimal shape during the drive, both on and off-road, it is capable of performing to its highest capability. The enhanced structure also avoids damage.
