OVERVIEW
The Mastercraft Courser LTR is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks. Mastercraft offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The five-rib tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The staggered tread elements, with the wide grooves, and wide grooves firmly grip the road surface in all weather, while the all season compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread design's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a safer driving experience.
The model performs exceptionally well both on- and off-road. The wider footprint and the five-rib pattern enhance the tire's road grip on soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces. The staggered tread blocks find grip on all off-road surfaces, while the tire's sidewall pattern enhances the tire's forward motion and traction in deep mud and loose dirt. These staggered tread blocks, along with the wide grooves and open shoulders, keep the footprint clean of mud, snow and rocks. As a result, the tire's footprint is never blocked from its contact with the road surface, while it also prevents stone retention, which may harm the tire's casing.
The tire features a wider footprint which improves its road contact. The better road contact upgrades the tire's controllability on all terrain and road surfaces. The boosted road contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In other words, the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model and its steering response time and accuracy are increased. The stronger internal structure prevents the tire's deformation under the driving and load pressure. This upgrades the driving safety and guarantees a heightened load carrying capability in all weather.
The Courser LTR offers a longer lasting tread life. The wider footprint's dual tread arch keeps the tire's road contact at all times. This enables the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the entire tire surface. The equally circulated forces of acceleration, cornering and braking and the load pressure resists uneven tread wear formations, lengthening the tread life and the tire's usability.
