The tire promotes excellent summer weather traction. The summer tire compound and the optimized tread pattern manage to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The four wide circumferential grooves and the numerous lateral grooves work together to evacuate water from below the tire's footprint to prevent hydroplaning when driving in wet weather.
