Kumho Solus XC
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- High driving comfort levels
- All weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Kumho Solus XC is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire offers a quiet drive. The detailed symmetric tread design features a special variable pitch sequence. This pitch sequence manages to lower the road and tread pattern noise generated while the tires are in motion. It creates a sound frequency which negates the road noise levels heard before it can reach the vehicle's cabin and ruin the passengers' driving comfort. In this manner, the model guarantees a comfortable and enjoyable driving experience.
The tread design features a solid center rib that maintains the tire's ideal road contact at all times, which upgrades the controllability. As a result, the tire enables the model to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimal shoulder tread block placement boosts the cornering and maneuvering capability. They increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering. This combination ensures the driver's full control over the vehicle and its maneuvering.
The model increases the length of the tread life significantly. The symmetric tread design of tire closely follows the road surface at all times. This allows the model to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. The longer lasting even tread wear extends the tire's usability.
The Solus XC promotes a secure all weather performance. The detailed tread design with the siping and groove placement upgrades the tire's grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. This allows the tire to upgrade the year round performing capability as the tread elements increase the number of biting edges gripping the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint and keeping the tire's road contact at all times. This ensures a greater all weather driving safety.
