OVERVIEW

The Kumho KRD50 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed pattern and the tread block placement with the detailed siping design work together with the all season compound to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the flexible performing ability, while the tread design increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface throughout the year. The circumferential grooves and open shoulder pattern enhance the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. In this manner, the tire upgrades the year round driving safety.

The model lengthens the tread life. The open shoulder design and the durable tire compound work together to extend the tire's usability. The open shoulder detail of the symmetric ribbed tread block placement enables the tire to evenly spread the driving pressure out across the tread area. This allows the model to upgrade the length of the tread life and the tire's usability. The durable compound is resistant to tread wear, which significantly slows the wear rate down. In this manner, the tire guarantees a longer lasting and secure performing capability.

The KRD50 promotes a reinforced construction. The model's stronger full-length steel belt construction maintains the tire's ideal shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to increase the load and driving durability. The tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure which increases its load carrying and withstanding capability. This greatly enhances the load capacity, ensuring a heightened durability during its heavy load application.
