The maintained road contact improves the tire's controllability, while its reinforced internal structure optimizes its shape under the high speed driving pressure affecting the tires. The constant road contact decreases the road vibrations felt while the tires are in motion. The Ecsta AST features a special sidewall that prevents damage from harming the rims.
