OVERVIEW
The Kumho Ecsta 4X II (QZ) is a performance or high performance (depending on the specific speed rating), all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This specific tire is marked with QZ as it is the original equipment of Mini vehicles. Kumho covers this tire model and size with its Road Hazard Warranty. This warranty is available for tires damaged by road hazards within the first 12 months after the purchase date, or until the first 3/32” of the tire tread wears away, whichever comes first! If this tire sustains road hazard damage (typically caused by nails, glass, or potholes) on its tread area, customers have the right to use the Road Hazard warranty for a Tire Replacement of an equivalent Kumho tire. To receive the Road Hazard warranty, customers with damaged tires must file a claim with Kumho Tires.
The tire promotes excellent all season traction through its asymmetric tread design and all season compound, enhancing dry, wet, and winter performance. The tread pattern maintains constant road contact while the compound retains flexibility in cold temperatures for superior ice and snow performance. Wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from the footprint for secure driving.
The larger footprint and specialized tread design upgrade controllability by maintaining constant road contact, improving steering responsiveness and driving stability. Steering becomes faster and more precise while the structure resists driving pressure. Optimized tread block stiffness enhances cornering and maneuvering by increasing biting edges that grip the road surface.
The Ecsta 4X II (QZ) ensures comfortable driving through a variable pitch sequence that negates road noise. It generates sound frequencies that cancel road and tread pattern noise before reaching the cabin. The rubber compound reduces road vibrations during motion, guaranteeing a comfortable and quiet driving experience.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
