OVERVIEW
The Kumho Ecowing ES31 is a touring, all season tire manufactured from passenger vehicles.
The tire upgrades the all weather traction. The silica-based all season compound works with the asymmetric tread design in order to boost the dry, wet, and winter weather grip. The high silica levels of the compound allow the tire to keep the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. The tread elements increase the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the surface traction. The four circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet weather conditions, by eliminating water and slush from below the tire’s footprint.
The asymmetric ribbed tread design helps to improve the surface contact at all times. The ribs ensure the surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability while the tires are in motion. This promotes a faster and more precise steering response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder pattern helps to increase the cornering power as well. These tread elements grip the road surface and the maneuvering capability, which ensures the driver’s control over the vehicle.
A fuel efficient performance is ensured with the heat resistant performance. The low rolling resistance silica compound and the tread design’s heat dissipating dimples prevent heat build-up along the tread area. As a result, the tire is able to minimize the rolling resistance, which is the pressure which determines the vehicle’s fuel intake needed to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance, the tire is able to decrease the fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in a fuel conscious driving experience.
The Ecowing ES31 also improves the comfort levels. The ribbed pattern’s close surface contact enables the tire to absorb the shock of driving.
