OVERVIEW

The Kenda Klever R/T is a rugged terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The model offers great versatile terrain performance. The tread allows the tire’s various application, as it enables the tire to perform just as well off-road as it does on-road. The aggressive tread design that extends to the sidewalls features large, staggered tread blocks that improve the soft, loose and uneven terrain gripping capability. The large tread elements keep a firm grip on the road and terrain surface to ensure the tire’s forward motion, even in deeper mud and on loose dirt. The wide groove pattern keeps the footprint clean. They clean out mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. This ensures constant traction on all terrain surfaces.

The tire avoids damage that can shorten its service life. The tread’s self-cleaning nature ejects rocks from the grooves, which avoids stone retention from harming the tire’s casing. Furthermore, the stronger polyester ply casing enhances the model’s durability against off-road damage. It maintains the tire’s optimal shape under the driving and load pressure and absorbs the shock of driving. In this manner, abrasions and impact damage cannot harm the tire. The aggressive sidewall tread pattern improves the damage resistance as well. It avoids cuts, punctures and other similar damage from rendering the tire unusable.

The model’s excellent tread design and all season compound work together to boost the all weather traction. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface, while the compound maintains its flexibility in dry, wet and winter weather. The compound also manages to prevent weather damage from harming the tread area. The tread’s siping detail enhances the winter weather traction. The tire is pinned for studs and #15 studs can be added, in accordance to state laws, to further increase the ice and snow traction. The tread’s wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint.

The Klever R/T ensures superb controllability. The optimal tread design improves the tire’s road and terrain contact, which boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model.
