OVERVIEW
The Kenda K358 Turf Rider is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment vehicles.
The tire promotes a turf friendly performance. The chevron style tread elements and the flat footprint closely follow the turf surface and enhances the tire's performance. This tread pattern enables the tire to safely perform on the turf surface without harming the turf and grass field in the process. This makes the tire perfect for lawn mower applications.
The model's tread design enables its all weather performance. The chevron tread elements, the flat footprint and the square shoulders upgrade the tire's grip in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The better traction enables the tire's safer performance as it ensures good grip on the turf surface without harming it. The chevron tread also keeps a clean footprint to promote a constant surface contact.
The K358 Turf Rider is easily controlled. The flat footprint and square shoulders enable the tire to closely follow the turf surface. This upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability by providing a better grip throughout the tire's performance. The improved controllability enables the driver to safely maneuver the vehicle in all weather traction.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
