Ironhead IDL300-FS
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All weather traction
- Fuel efficient performance
- Longer lasting tread life
OVERVIEW
The Ironhead IDL300-FS is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire model greatly improves the all weather traction. The stability of the symmetric ribbed tread design and the groove walls' micro-siping pattern work together with the all season compound, in order to boost the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The footprint's stability enhances the grip with the use of extra biting edges, upgrading the grip throughout the performance. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility, optimizing the year round traction. The deeper circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, further enhancing the wet weather performance.
The stronger all season compound and the ideal tread design upgrade the fuel conscious drive. This eases the pressure off the tire, minimizing the rolling resistance during the performance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's fuel intake needed to keep the tires in motion. Lowering the rolling resistance enables the tire to decrease the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.
The IDL300-FS upgrades the length of the usability as well. The stronger compound and the footprint's stability manage to promote a longer lasting service life. The durable compound reduces the treadwear rate, with the wear-resistant rubber materials. The symmetric footprint's surface contact improves the pressure distribution across the tread area, actively avoiding irregular wear formations. The slower and even wear greatly boosts the overall tread life.
