OVERVIEW

The Ironhead IAR221 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The optimal tread design and all season compound improves the all weather traction. The all weather compound and the siped tread pattern enhances the dry, wet and winter grip throughout the year. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions. The siping placement and the ideal block pattern work together to promote additional biting edges gripping the road surface during the drive. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, which further enhance the wet and winter driving safety.

The tread design also keeps the footprint clean. The tread design with the circumferential grooves enables the tire to eject rocks and prevent mud and snow from blocking the surface contact. The tread ejects rocks stuck between the tread elements, avoiding them from drilling into the casing and harming the tire by resisting stone retention. The tread also eliminates mud and snow from the footprint, preventing them from cutting off the tire's surface contact during the drive. This combination ensures a secure driving experience and offers great damage resistance.

The IAR221 promotes a longer tread life. The stronger compound and the ideal tread design work together to elongate the usability. The durable compound lowers the tread wear rate by avoiding premature wear formations. The individual tread blocks and the stabilized elements enable the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoid irregular wear formations.
