The Hankook Winter i*Pike X is a touring, winter tire made for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.
The tire promoted excellent winter weather traction. The directional tread design, with the claw and side edges and the ice slit tread elements, works together with the winter compound to boost the cold temperature, ice, and snow traction. The optimized tread features manage to provide additional biting edges, which enhance the surface grip. Furthermore, the tread is strategically pinned for studs, which can further improve the winter performance. The compound keeps the tire pliable even in freezing temperatures. Using the groove placement, the tire is able to increase the hydroplaning resistance in wet conditions.
The tread design’s surface contact and the special UHT (ultra-high tensile) steel belts maintain the ideal tire shape throughout the drive.
