The Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 is a performance winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some highway terrain, commercial van sizes as well.
The tire ensures exceptional winter weather traction. The high silica compound improves the tread's flexibility in wet and winter weather. The specially designed asymmetric tread pattern features a high-density 3D sipe detail, ice grip slits, and snow-pick traction grooves that work together to maximize the tire's ice and snow traction in winter weather situations. The ice grip slits increase the ice gripping ability to ensure a secure performance. The tread also features wider circumferential grooves and aqua slants that actively prevent hydroplaning by channeling water and slush away from the tire's footprint. The increased snow and ice traction and excellent hydroplaning resistance boost the winter weather driving safety.
The model is easily controlled. The reinforced internal structure's jointless band construction and stronger steel belts stabilize the tread elements and improve the road contact to upgrade the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This stabilizes the structure and quickens the steering response to the driver's commands. The tread's special zigzag traction groove boosts the model's braking capability. It shortens the braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking to ensure a safer stopping ability. The Winter i*cept evo2 offers a lengthened tread life. The optimized tread stiffness prevents tread flexing while the tires are in motion. This prevents irregular wear formations on the tread area as it allows the tread to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking extend the tread life and the tire's usability in this manner.
