The Hankook iON Nordic Ice SUV is a touring, winter tire designed for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is EV-Specific, meaning these tires are purpose-built tires engineered exclusively for electric vehicles.

The directional tread design, with the siping detail and wide grooves, offers improved grip on snow- and ice-covered roads. This allows the tire to maintain consistent road contact, promoting a safer performance during extreme winter conditions. The tread pattern is also pinned for studs, allowing better traction on snowy and icy roads when the studs are added. The winter compound keeps the tire flexible in freezing temperatures. Thanks to the wide lateral grooves, water and slush are eliminated from below the footprint, preventing hydroplaning.

The model's service life is greatly extended. The ideal tread pattern spreads the driving pressure evenly across the tread area.
