The Hankook Dynapro ATM is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.
These specific tires are Dealer Take Off Tires. This means that the tire was once mounted on a vehicle before taken off by a dealer at a dealership. These tires have not been driven on. They have 100% of tread life remaining.
This tire offers excellent all weather traction due to the tread pattern and the tire compound. While the tire does not function as well as a true winter tire, it is still able to withstand and perform in less severe winter conditions. The tire’s wide tread grooves help disperse water from beneath the tire’s footprint and increases its hydroplaning resistance.
This all terrain tire performs well and is reliable both on and off road, due to the tire compound and tread pattern. Thanks to the special rugged tread design, the tire is resistant to accidental cuts and tears which can occur while driving in different road conditions. This rugged tread design also increases the tire’s traction in mud and snow, improving the tire’s performance capabilities. The tire’s self-cleaning tread helps eject stones stuck between the tread and cleans out mud and snow for enhanced traction.
The tire has a larger footprint, which enables the tire’s tread to wear out evenly. The even wear of the tire elongates its tread life, providing a longer lasting tread life. The larger footprint also lowers the rolling resistance. The lowered rolling resistance reduces the vehicles fuel consumption, making the tire more economical.
Due to the reinforced steel belts in the structure of the tire, some of the sizes of the Dynapro ATM have greater strength and durability for heavy loads during on- and off-road driving.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
