OVERVIEW

The Groundspeed Voyager MT is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The large tread elements, high void ratio and siping of the tread blocks work together with the all season compound to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The tread elements boost the tire's performing capability in all weather with the firm grip they provide, while the compound maintains its flexible traction even in colder temperatures. The compound and siping detail earned the tire its three mountain peak and snowflake symbol, which indicates its capability to perform in the harshest winter weather. The high void ratio prevents hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint, ensuring a safer off-road drive.

The model easily performs on all off-road terrain surfaces. The large tread elements, sidewall pattern and high void ratio firmly grip the soft, loose and uneven terrain surface throughout the year. The sidewall pattern ensures the tire's forward motion in deep mud and loose dirt, preventing the tire from being stuck in harsher off-road terrains. The staggered tread blocks, open shoulder pattern and stone ejecting ribs located in the grooves maintain a clean footprint. They disperse mud and snow and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire's footprint is never blocked from its contact with the road surface, while it effectively resists the stone retention from harming the tire's casing.

The tire's optimal shoulder tread design and constantly clean footprint boost its performing capability and controllability. These tread elements maintain constant surface contact which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires. The improved water drainage boosts the braking capability. The maintained terrain surface contact allows the tire to shorten its braking distance by creating friction at the moment of braking. The enhanced controllability and better braking ability ensure a secure year round driving experience.

The Voyager MT offers a safer performance. The tire's reinforced three-layer polyester cord casing and stronger steel belts of its internal structure maintain the optimal tire shape and prevent off-road damage from harming the tire's casing. The prevention of deformation under the driving and load pressure improves the model's versatile usability, while the stronger structure resists off-road damage, such as punctures, cuts and abrasions that can shorten the tire's service life.

The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
