OVERVIEW

The Groundspeed Voyager AT is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. Groundspeed offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty.

The model promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements with the detailed siping pattern and staggered blocks are able to heighten the number of biting edges gripping the road surface all year round, while the durable compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile conditions. The wide groove pattern actively prevents hydroplaning in wet and slushy weather. These grooves channel water and slush from below the footprint, resisting hydroplaning and offering a safer performance.

The tread design also enables the tire's excellent all terrain traction. The tread's large, staggered tread elements, wide grooves and open shoulder detail improve the grip on versatile road and terrain conditions. This ensures the tire's secure drive even on soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces. In this manner, the tire is able to conquer all terrains with ease, while preventing the vehicle from being stuck when driving through deep mud or on loose dirt. These tread elements also improve the tread's self-cleaning capability. The staggered tread blocks and wide grooves increase the mud, snow and rock eliminating ability. They prevent mud and snow from packing between the tread elements and blocking off the tire's surface contact. This also resists stone retention by ejecting rocks stuck in the tread before they can drill into the casing and harm the tire. The Voyager AT increases its tread life. The tread's ideal pattern stabilizes the tread elements during the drive. This prevents tread flexing from creating additional friction between the tire and the road or terrain surface. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area.
