The tire's zigzag grooves grip the road firmly while the special tire compound offers added traction and biting edges for wet road surfaces. The circumferential grooves in the tread pattern help eliminate water from below the footprint, actively resisting hydroplaning. Using the tire all year becomes safer this way.

The extra biting edges enhance the wet traction of the model and improve the cornering ability and power. The boosted cornering ability allows for more confident maneuvering with this model.

This prevents the driving pressure from deforming the tire and it maintains its shape at all speeds. Some sizes of this model have reinforced sidewalls, which are capable of handling heavy loads. Those are the load range D and E models, which are meant to be used on light trucks.
