The Goodyear Optitrac R-1W is an all season tire made for tractors.
The special angled lug tread design improves the tire's self-cleaning capability. The directional tread pattern and the high void ratio keep the footprint clean. This is achieved as the tread elements eliminate mud, dirt, snow, and rocks, preventing them from blocking the tire's constant contact with the terrain surface. The 45-degree tread lug angles avoid stone retention, by ejecting rocks stuck between the tread elements. This tread design improves the tire's constant contact with the surface and also protects the tire from shortening its usability.
