OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Marathon RSD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles, to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The tread design and the all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design's optimal siping detail and solid shoulder ribs firmly grip the road surface throughout the year, while the all season compound keeps its flexible traction all year, including in colder winter weather. The tread's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all season performance ensure a safer all weather driving experience.
The model's all steel internal structure improves the tire's durability. The full steel belt structure maintains the tire's optimal shape under the driving and load pressure affecting the model. The optimized tire shape ensures the tire's performing capability. It also allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease and without deformation of the tire's shape. The stronger internal structure and the special penetration protectors prevents damage from harming the tire's casing. They resist cuts and punctures from damaging the tire and shortening its service life.
The tread design, the durable tire compound and the deeper tread improve the tread life. The solid center rib's optimized road contact enables the tire to evenly spread out the driving pressure along the tread area.
