Gladiator Turf Master
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Turf Friendly Traction
- Extended Tread Life
- Self Cleaning Ability
OVERVIEW
The Gladiator Turf Master is an all season tire created for lawn mowers and other garden equipment.
This model comes with a tread specially designed for turf traction. The wide and detailed tread eases a great deal of pressure off the terrain, preventing pressure accumulation. This results in soft traction that preserves the grass instead of damaging it. Meanwhile, it still provides the traction needed to ensure consistent forward motion. This makes the tire an outstanding choice for garden vehicles, keeping the turf terrain undamaged throughout its performance.
The tread promises a long-lasting service life, due to its special compound and design. The tread elements are densely packed and stabilized against load and driving pressure. With its optimal pressure distribution, the tread wear is greatly slowed down. The rubber compound is also wear-resistant, significantly extending the tire's tread life. The tire evenly circulates the pressure through the tread elements, to prevent flexing and irregular wear formations.
The tread design promotes self-cleaning with its void ratio. Its block arrangement allows it to eliminate snow and slush from the footprint. This way, the tread elements can maintain contact with the turf terrain. With the abundance of biting edges, a constant grip is guaranteed. The tread also eliminates rocks from the footprint to prevent stone retention. These features improve the Turf Master's usability and reliability.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
