OVERVIEW
The Gladiator QR15-STB is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire has excellent all weather traction thanks to the tire compound and the special tread design. The dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability ensures a safer driving experience by maintaining constant contact with the road surface at all times. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire's footprint. While trailer tires do not need to have as good a traction as the vehicle's that tow them have, this model still guarantees superb driving safety in all weather.
The tire's internal structure features twin steel belts that maintain the optimal tire shape at all times. This full steel layer boosts the tire's driving stability and durability by preventing deformation during the drive. This stabilizes the tire during the drive, which enhances its responsiveness to the commands of the towing vehicle and make the trailer easier to control in all weather. The internal steel belts also boost the tire's load capacity and durability. The full steel construction enhances the tire's strength, allowing them to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease and without the deformation of its shape.
The tire offers a longer lasting tread life. This is achieved with the special tire compound used in the tire's manufacture. It effectively resists tread cracking and prevents irregular wear patterns from forming. The compound stiffens the tread elements, avoiding tread flexing, which guarantees an evenly worn tread pattern. The tread design also features stone rejectors placed in the tread grooves. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements, all the while protecting the casing and avoiding stone drilling that can harm the tire.
The QR15-STB promotes a fuel efficient drive. The tread design's improved traction and stability reduce the rolling resistance as they take the tread off the tire. This allows the tire to lower the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, as the rolling resistance is the force affecting the tire that manages how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The result is a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly tire model.
