OVERVIEW

The General RD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The model was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire offers great all weather traction. The durable all season tire compound and the symmetric tread design work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility in all weather, from the summer heat to the colder winter temperatures. The tread design firmly grips the road surface throughout the year. The tread's wide circumferential and lateral grooves avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction improve the year round driving safety.

The model promotes a longer lasting tread life. The durable tire compound and the optimal road contact of the tread design increase the tire's service life. The durable compound is wear-resistant, which slows the tread wear rate down. The tread's optimal road contact manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life by avoiding irregular tread wear formations across the tire's surface. The slower even tread wear extends the tread life and the tire's usability significantly.

The RD is easily controlled thanks to the tread's design's optimal road contact. The symmetric tread design's constant road contact increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
