OVERVIEW

The General HD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The model is made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The model offers first-rate damage resistance. The durable compound and the special stone retention prevention work together to lengthen the tire's service life. The compound is chip and crack resistant, while it also strengthens the tire to avoid punctures and cuts from harming the tire's casing. The tread design's wide circumferential grooves manage to resist stone retention as they eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. In this manner, the tire guarantees a safer driving experience.

The tire was made with a special fuel saving compound. This compound lowers the tire's rolling resistance, which is the external driving pressure affecting the model, that determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to consume to keep the tires in motion. The lower the rolling resistance is, the less energy the vehicle needs. The reduced rolling resistance lessens the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions significantly, which results in a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance.

The HD promotes a lengthened tread life. The reduced rolling resistance also manages to slows the tread wear rate down. The symmetric tread design increases the tread life by avoiding the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area. The equally circulated pressure avoids irregular tread wear formations. The slowed down even tread wear extends the tread life and the tire's usability.
