OVERVIEW
The General Grabber GT is a high performance summer tire made for passenger vehicles.
This tire has excellent dry and wet weather traction. Its high rigidity and well-balanced tread help enhance its road grip, however, it is not suited for winter driving and should be stored in lower temperatures. The better road grip and the extra biting edges on the tire's shoulder help shorten its braking distance. All of these factors contribute to its enhanced safety.
This model's Visual Alignment Indicator, VIA for short, allows the driver to see if the tread of the tire is wearing irregularly for the first 600 miles of its life. This increases the tire's tread life, as it identifies when the vehicle's alignment may be off. The VIA symbols on the inside and outside shoulder of the tires change as the tread wears out, so by comparing them the driver is able to determine if the wheels are correctly aligned.
The Replacement Tire Monitoring safety system, or RTM for short, informs the driver when the tire needs to be changed. The center continuous rib in the tread pattern has the words “Replacement Tire Monitor” on it which appear three times. Before the tire reaches the minimum tread depth indicated by the Tread Wear Indicator bars, the inscription changes to “Replace Tire”. This helps identify when the tires need to be replaced.
The Grabber GT offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience as it reduces the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle. Its high speed performance is enhanced and its precise steering response ensures easy control and handling.
