The Galaxy Trailer Special is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This model should not be mounted on light trucks. The tire guarantees exceptional all season traction. This tire offers exceptional dry, wet, and winter weather performance. Zigzag grooves channel water and slush from the footprint, preventing hydroplaning. Maintaining surface contact at all times, the tire is able to successfully control the trailer, ensuring the towing vehicle's control over the vehicle at all times. The Trailer Special also features a bias-ply structure, which significantly increases its load capacity.

Excellent trailer tires

After being frustrated by the cheap MH trailer tires on the market, I came across the Galaxies- real heavy duty tires! You may spend nearly twice as much over the cheap ones, but going down the road with a 10,000 lb trailer load is not worth the risk to save a few hundred $$. No comparison, these are heavy sidewall, well made tires. One caveat- if you're putting them on open center MH rims, very few tire places will do it. I had to do it myself and it was very difficult because they are so heavily built. But did ultimately suceed. It was worth it.
