OVERVIEW
The Firestone Transforce AT2 is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction. The special deeper tread features and the large tread blocks increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface, even in winter weather, to ensure constant road contact. The deeper tread grooves improve the wet and winter weather traction as the three circumferential grooves and the multi-sipe detail actively disperse water and slush from below the footprint. This prevention of hydroplaning ensures a safer driving experience in all weather.
The tread design's open shoulder and sidewall design, along with the large staggered tread blocks, upgrade the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. These tread elements allow the tire to conquer soft, loose and uneven terrain with ease and ensure a more secure driving experience during off-road driving. This guarantees better performance on gravel roads, large rock covered roads and ruts. The deeper tread grooves eliminate mud and eject rocks stuck between the tread elements to provide a constantly clean footprint that upgrades the road contact.
The model has excellent durability. The tire compound is made from a stronger rubber material that prevents damages that can harm the tread area. The compound resists chipping, cracking and cuts and ensures a slower tread wear rate as well, making the tire usable for a longer period of time. The tire's internal structure features high tensile twin steel belts reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon to maintain the tire's optimal shape. This structure prevents the tire from deforming under the driving pressure affecting the tire in all weather and on all road conditions.
The Transforce AT2 offers a comfortable on-road drive. The structure features a 2 ply carcass that allows the tire to closely follow the road surface.
