OVERVIEW

The Firestone All Season is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger and crossover vehicles. Firestone offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty for the crossover utility vehicle sizes and a 65,000 mile treadwear warranty for the passenger car sizes.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction and road gripping ability. The combination of the silica-based tire compound and the symmetric tread pattern with the deep siping detail ensures a safe all weather road gripping ability. The improved all weather traction is further improved by the tire's hydroplaning resistance, which is made possible with the four wide circumferential grooves dispersing water from below the tire footprint. The better road gripping ability and hydroplaning resistance improve the year round driving safety.

The symmetric tread pattern extends the tread life and tire usability greatly. The symmetric design evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. The equal spread of the driving pressure across the tread area prevents irregular wear patterns from forming along the tread surface, which extends the tread life and tire usability. As the tire can be used for a longer period of time, it is more cost-efficient.

The maintained road contact and the tire's internal structure work together to ensure excellent handling. The symmetric tread pattern's constant road gripping ability improves the steering responsiveness and accuracy and makes sure that the tire's steering response to the driver's commands is quick and precise. The Firestone All Season offers a comfortable drive. The internal structure features two steel belts with a spirally wrapped nylon reinforcement above the polyester body casing. As a result, the tire keeps its optimal shape under the driving pressure and it absorbs the shock of driving. This reduces the road vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin, promoting an enjoyable driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
