OVERVIEW
The Firestone Destination M/T2 is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The aggressive tread design enhances the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The high void ratio actively prevents hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the tire's footprint. This tread design also prevents snow from packing into the grooves and blocking the tire from its contact with the road. The high number of biting edges manage to increase their gripping ability even on ice and snow-covered roads and ensure a secure performance.
The tread design's large, staggered tread blocks, open shoulder pattern and serrated upper sidewall lugs improve the mud terrain traction. These tread elements enhance the soft and loose terrain road gripping ability. The special tread design enables the tire's exceptional off-road performance. The tread design also features mud and stone ejectors that eliminate them from between the tread elements. In this manner, the tread design enhances its road contact and traction and actively prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing, guaranteeing a safer off-road capability.
The tire promotes excellent durability. The reinforced dual steel belt construction improves the model's durability by preventing it from deforming under the driving and load pressure. The tire keeps its optimal shape under the pressure affecting it during off-road performance. The special durable tire compound is chip and tear resistant, while the tire's casing prevents punctures and other off-road damage from harming the tire's structure. The better damage resistance and durability ensure exceptional driving safety.
The Destination M/T2 is easily controlled. The specially placed tread blocks upgrade the model's steering responsiveness, while the reinforced internal structure stabilizes the tire against the driving pressure. The faster and more accurate steering response to the driver's commands and the stabilized structure ensure a safe off-road handling.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
