OVERVIEW

The Falken Wildpeak H/T 02 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks. The model also has some commercial van sizes available. Falken offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with light trucks and commercial van sizes, and a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with SUV sizes.

Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken’s road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire’s tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.

The model improves the all weather traction. The durable compound and the detailed symmetric ribbed block placement of the tread design enhance the dry, wet and winter weather grip. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility, enhancing the summer and winter performance. The tread's 3D canyon sipes and rigid block placement provide the necessary traction with the road surface with extra biting edges. The four wider circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint in wet conditions.

The ribbed block pattern upgrades the tire's surface contact throughout the performance. It improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. The 3D canyon sipes and circumferential grooves greatly decrease the braking distance. These tread elements allow the tire to generate friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance. The footprint's rigidity also improves the tire's handling further, while it also greatly boosts the model's ability to tow trailers.

The footprint stability and the durable compound enhance the usability. The stronger compound elements greatly decrease the overall treadwear rate by slowing the overall wear manner down.
