OVERVIEW
The Double Coin FT115 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's trailer axle.
The tire ensures excellent year round traction. The tread's unique groove and sipe detail helps to provide the necessary number of biting edges to grip the road. In other words, they enhance the footprint's grip on dry, wet, and winter weather surfaces. Its advanced compound keeps its flexibility throughout the year, optimizing the summer and winter performance. The narrow groove pattern channels water and slush from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in the process.
The advanced compound also ensures the tire's fuel efficiency. It eases the pressure off the tire, minimizing the rolling resistance in the process. In other words, it provides the needed traction to optimize the tire's performing capability, which decreases the towing vehicle's necessary fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This results in the tire's fuel conscious driving experience, since it significantly lowers the energy usage that is essential for its performance.
Lengthening the tire's service life is also not an issue. It combines the footprint, the casing, and the self-cleaning tread design to achieve this. The special stone ejectors eliminate rocks stuck in the footprint, before they can cause stone retention and damage the casing. There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
