OVERVIEW

The Dakar M/T III is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire offers great off-road performance. The optimal tread design features large, staggered tread blocks, wide grooves, open shoulders and special groove ribs that increase the tire's grip on soft and loose terrain surfaces. The large tread elements and upper sidewall pattern ensure side traction in deep mud and loose dirt, which enables the tire's forward motion at all times. This tread design also increases the self-cleaning capability. The tread elements disperse mud, while the stone ejecting groove ribs eliminate rocks stuck in the footprint. This prevents stone retention from harming the casing and guarantees the tire's constant terrain surface contact.

The tread design and all season compound improve the all weather traction. The large tread elements firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The staggered blocks find good grip in the road surface throughout the year and ensure a secure grip on the terrain surface. The special siping detail increases the number of edges gripping the terrain surface throughout the year. The tire is pinned for studs, which can be added to further boost the model's winter weather traction and performing capability.

The Dakar M/T III is easily controlled as its tread design maintains the tire's terrain contact at all times. The tread design's special tread block placement improves the controllability to keeping the tire's surface contact at all times. In this manner, the tire upgrades its steering responsiveness and driving stability. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
