OVERVIEW
The Crosswind M/T is a mud terrain all season tire manufactured for sport utility and light truck vehicles.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction and road gripping ability. The open shoulder tread pattern enhances the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability by finding grip on all road surfaces. This open tread design maintains a clean footprint by dispersing snow from between the tread, which ensures a safer drive. The wide grooves actively resist hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from beneath the tire footprint. The constantly clean footprint and the superb traction ensure a year round driving safety.
The model is capable of handling off-road surfaces, and it performs especially well on mud terrain. The rugged, directional tread pattern design and the wraparound shoulder tread pattern firmly grip the road surface both on and off-road. During off-road driving the tire's footprint is not blocked from its road contact, as the open tread design cleans out mud and ejects rocks stuck between the elements. This constantly clean footprint further improves the off-road and mud-terrain traction by guaranteeing a more secure drive.
The steering responsiveness and driving stability are enhanced in all weather. Both on and off-road the tire is extremely responsive to the driver's commands. The special tread pattern and the shoulder tread blocks keep the tire constantly on the road and guarantee a more secure driving experience. The steering responsiveness becomes quick and precise, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it.
The M/T's special compound is sturdier. It is cut and chip resistant, which not only lengthens the tire's usability, but also improves the driving safety on all road conditions.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
