OVERVIEW

The Crosswind All Season UHP is a performance and high performance (depending of the speed rating) all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The directional symmetric tread design and all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tread design firmly grips the road surface throughout the year, while the tire compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures and prevents weather damage. The tread’s straight and wavy circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire’s footprint. The increased traction and hydroplaning resistance ensure a superb year round driving security.

The tire’s maintained road contact enhances its controllability. The symmetric tread design features a solid center rib that keeps its road contact at all times, which improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The symmetric pattern also increases the model’s braking capability. It creates friction between the road surface and the tire when braking, which effectively shortens the braking distance and ensures a safer performance.

The directional tread design upgrades the model’s high speed performing capability. It manages to evenly distribute the high speed driving pressure along the entire tread area, easing the pressure off the tire and preventing heat build-up. This allows the tire to perform to its utmost high speed capability without the deformation of the its optimal shape.

The All Season UHP features an exterior rim flange protector that guards the rims from accidental curb and other road damage.
