OVERVIEW
The Cooper Weather-Master WSC is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes exceptional winter weather traction. The winter compound and the directional tread design work together to increase the cold temperature dry and wet and ice and snow road gripping ability. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. These enhancements allowed the tire to receive its three mountain peak and snowflake symbol which indicate the tire's capability to handle the harshest winter conditions.
The tread design's solid center rib improves the tire's road contact. The tire's constant contact with the road surface upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while it stabilizes the tire's structure against the driving pressure affecting it. The directional tread design's improved traction enhances the tire's acceleration by boosting the road grip on all snow- and ice-covered road conditions.
The tire's directional tread design lengthens the tread life. It evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. This equally spread out force of acceleration, cornering and braking actively resists the formation of irregular tread wear formations across the tread area. The constantly even tread wear improves the tread life length the extends the tire's usability.
The Weather-Master WSC offers a quiet drive. The tread grooves and siping detail channel the airwaves through the tire's footprint without letting them come into contact with the tread elements. As a result, the road and tread pattern noise are not generated while the tires are in motion. This results in a quiet and comfortable driving experience.
