OVERVIEW

The Cooper Discoverer X/T4 is an extreme terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light trucks.

The model improves extreme terrain traction by utilizing the tread design. The tread features staggered tread blocks and a detailed zigzag groove pattern which work together to enhance the grip on soft, loose and uneven terrain surface conditions. The tread upgrades the grip on the road surface, while the optimal pattern keeps the footprint clean. The tread elements eliminate mud and snow and eject rocks stuck in the footprint. This prevents mud and snow from cutting off the tire's surface contact, while it also actively avoids stone retention by ejecting rocks from the footprint before they can drill into the casing. In this manner, the tire guarantees a safer versatile terrain traction, while optimizing the driving safety on such terrain conditions, offering a secure driving experience.

The tread design also upgrades the all weather traction. The stable footprint features staggered tread blocks with a detailed siping pattern, which increases the tire's grip in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread elements, with the special Snowgroove 2.0 technology, boosts the number of biting edges gripping the road surface in various weather situations. This tread design enables the tire to securely perform even on ice- and snow-covered surfaces. The zigzag circumferential and lateral grooves help prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint during the tire's on-road performance, further enhancing the wet and winter weather performing safety.
