The Cooper CS5 Grand Touring is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. The tire promotes all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance. The maintained road contact improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability, while the shoulder blocks increase the cornering. The silica compound makes the tire more fuel efficient by lowering the vehicle's fuel consumption. The polyester casing reduces the road vibrations felt in the cabin by absorbing the driving shock. The CS5 Grand Touring ensures a longer tread life and offers visual representation of the tread wear rate.
The silica tire compound and the asymmetric tread pattern enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability.
The four wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.
The maintained road contact of the center ribs and shoulder tread blocks enhance the steering and driving stability.
The tread features Wear Square Indicators that visually represent the tread wear rate and enhance even wear.
The internal structure's polyester casing lowers the road vibration levels felt in the vehicle's cabin.
The silica compound decreases the rolling resistance, lowering the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.

I live in the ozarks and travel winding/hilly gravel roads about as much as I do pavement. I had Toyo Open Country tires last 10 months. They were totally trashed. Michelin tires just short of two years and they were literally falling apart. Friends have purchased BFGs and Coopers since I’ve gotten my Rockproofs and my tires are holding up way better. 6k miles… hardly a mark. I drive a 1 ton suspension work van. Curb weight is nearly 3 tons and it’s often loaded and/or pulling a trailer. Steep gravel hills are no problem. Wet muddy roads no problem. They handle fine on winding, hilly paved roads at over 70 mph and are not even noisy. Snow is no issue. Really impressed with these tires. They were older stock as well… 6 years plus old when I got them… even so they’ve been great. It has seemed like an impossible quest to find good tires for the gravel roads here… I may have found my ‘holy grail’.
