OVERVIEW
The Continental PremiumContact 6 ContiSeal (OE) is a performance, summer tire made for SUVs. This is an OE as it is the original equipment of select vehicles.
The tread design's surface contact upgrades controllability. The ideal tread elements stabilize the tire's contact with the terrain surface. This maintained road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability significantly. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. Cornering and maneuvering are upgraded too. This combination allows the driver to have full control over the vehicle.
The ideal tread design and the summer compound offer great summer weather traction. This is guaranteed with the tread design and the summer compound. Their combination boosts dry and wet traction. Better road contact provides exceptional traction in summer conditions. On the other hand, the stronger rubber materials keep the tire pliable in warmer conditions. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions, as they eliminate water from the footprint.
High driving comfort levels are ensured with this tire. The model is able to negate sound waves during the drive. This is achieved with the tread pattern's variable pitch detail. It generates a special sound frequency that prevents sound waves from disturbing the passengers' driving enjoyment. As road disturbances do not reach the vehicle's cabin, the tire promotes high driving comfort levels.
The Continental PremiumContact 6 ContiSeal (OE) is manufactured with a ContiSeal technology. It enables the tire to stay in shape by preventing the air from leaving the tire in case of a puncture. This technology closes up punctures even is the object is removed. This technology fixes 80% of all punctures, preventing the tire from being flat.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
