OVERVIEW
The Continental HTL Eco Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model was made for the vehicle's trailer axle.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The durable all season compound and the ideal tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in various temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter weather performing capability. The symmetric ribbed tread design increases the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges throughout the year. The two wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. This further upgrades the wet weather driving safety levels.
The ribbed tread design and the flat footprint increase the surface contact while the tires are in motion. In other words, the constant and close surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability during the performance. This enables the tire to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. As a result, the tire greatly enhances the towing vehicle's control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
