Continental HSR
Continental HSR
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Enhanced controllability
- Longer lasting tread life
- Damage resistant tread
OVERVIEW
The Continental HSR is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions, but it is recommended for the steer axle.
The model ensures great controllability. The symmetric pattern features two wider shoulder ribs and two narrow center ribs that maintain the tire's road contact at all times. The better road contact improves the steering responsiveness and the driving stability as the ribs keep the tire close to the road surface. In this manner, the steering is faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The improved road contact and control over the tires enable the driver to confidently maneuver the vehicle in all weather.
The tire offers a longer lasting tread life. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern and the durable tire compound work together to achieve a lengthened usability. The symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface, which evenly distributes the driving and load pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability by avoiding irregular wear formations across the tread area. The durable tire compound slows the tread wear rate down with its wear-resistant rubber materials. The slower tread wear and even tread wear extend the tread life and the tire's usability.
The HSR is damage resistant. The durable compound avoids chipping and cracking that may harm the tread area. The pyramidal stone ejectors prevent stone retention by eliminating rocks stuck between the tread elements. Stone retention can damage the tire's casing and cause punctures. Preventing it guarantees a safer performing capability.
- Fast and Free Shipping
If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after.
