OVERVIEW

The Continental ExtremeContact Sport is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

This model offers great wet and dry weather road grip and it will maintain its traction throughout the summer months thanks to its excellent tread design. The tire was manufactured with the +Silane tread compound, which improves the wet traction and road grip of the tire, even when driving at higher speeds. It is not suitable for use in winter weather or in colder temperatures, as the rubber will lose its traction due to the cold air. The circumferential grooves in the tread eliminate water from below the footprint of the tire, enhancing its resistance to hydroplaning.

This model has a longer lasting tread life. The optimized tread design and the footprint extend the tire's life by preventing irregular wear. When a tire's wear is uneven, it causes vibrations and bounciness felt in the cabin of the vehicle.
