The Continental ContiSportContact 2 (J) is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model is the original equipment tire of Jaguar vehicles. This model is EV-Ready, meaning these tires are compatible with both electric and traditional vehicles.

The tire improves the summer weather traction. The summer compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to boost the dry and wet weather grip on the road surface. The durable bionic compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility and greatly decrease the possibility of heat build-up. The asymmetric tread's better rubber-to-road ratio enhances the grip on the road surface in summer weather situations, increasing the performing safety. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water from the footprint, further boosting the wet weather traction.

The high speed handling is ensured throughout the performance. The asymmetric tread's surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability at all times. In other words, the better road contact boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The durable compound and the steel belt structure work together to ensure the tire's secure high speed performance. This significantly shortens the braking distance, guaranteeing better braking throughout the performance. The shoulder pattern generates friction providing additional biting edges, enhancing the cornering and maneuvering capability. This combination greatly improves the driver's control over the vehicle.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
