I have always known about continental tires that is what came off my smart car. They were run flats, A very hard tire for such a small car but they were 10 yrs old !Priority tire had the beast price on them , these are not run flats . I would buy again from Priority tire. This ContiProContact is the "do it all, and do it well" tire in my experience
Of all the tires I've tried over the last 25+ years, the ContiProContact is the best All-Season, do it all tire. They came as OEM tires on my 2015 Honda Civic Si, and nothing else has handled spirited summer driving, extreme downpour highway driving, and a return trip from Washington D. C. to Boston, MA during a major NorEaster blizzard that shadowed me the entire drive (took 12hrs it was so bad) but the ContiProContacts didn't blink.
They don't hydroplane at +75mph, they get through tough snow, deep snow, and they grip very well in both cold and hot road conditions. I lived with these tires for 3 years on that Civic Si, and was so impressed with them that I continue to purchase them for my current vehicles. Their all-season usability in New England is so good. They are such an impressive tire, especially in heavy rain at highway speeds, and their ability to pull me through New England snow storms. And they perform well in the summer months as a street performance tire on a sport compact vehicle. I've used them on Civic, VW Jetta, Mini Cooper, and were consistent as a reliable all-weather/season tire.
