OVERVIEW
The Continental 4X4 Contact is a touring, all season tire for on- and slight off-road driving manufactured for SUVs and passenger vehicles.
This model offers great all weather traction thanks to its silica-based tire compound. It grips the road well in all weather conditions, including dry, wet and winter conditions. The tread grooves prevent the tire from hydroplaning in deeper water by dispersing it from below the footprint. This makes the tire safer to use all year-round.
The tire's longer tread life is due to the symmetric tread pattern which increases the tire's directional stability. The improved stability equally distributes the driving force and pressure along the tire's road contact area, preventing irregular wear on the tires. As a result, it wears out evenly, extending its tread life. The model's symmetric tread pattern also manages to reduce its rolling resistance. The lowered rolling resistance makes the tire more cost efficient as it decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission.
The specially designed tread pattern offers a quiet and comfortable drive. The tread lowers the noise levels during on-road driving. The sound waves emitted by the tires in motion are channeled through the tread grooves in the footprint, cancelling them out.
The 4X4 Contact has good on- and slight off-road traction and it will perform well on both surfaces.

If an order is placed before 1 pm EST on a business day we ship the order the same day.
If it is placed after 1 pm EST or over the weekend, we will ship the order out the following business day. Depending where you are located in the 48 contiguous states, our shipping courier will take approximately 1-6 business days to deliver the tires to you from any of our four main warehouses located in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Florida and/or our smaller warehouses which are located across the country.
Due to the nature of shipping, packages may be separated at the shipping courier's facility and not delivered on the same day, even though shipped together. You'll receive a master tracking number via email to check on the courier's website for updates. For instance, you may receive 3 tires on one day and the 4th on the following day, or one tire one day and another the day after. We understand this may be inconvenient at times but it's beyond our control.
