OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Ultra Sport RH is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The tread design and the all season tire compound work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements ensure constant road contact and firm grip on the road surface, while the compound maintains its flexibility even in cold weather. The tread design also manages to actively resist hydroplaning as its wide circumferential grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better hydroplaning and enhanced traction guarantee a safer driving experience.
The tread pattern improves the tire's controllability. The better road contact of the optimized footprint and the constant road contact of the center rib increase the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the towing vehicle's instructions, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving and load pressure affecting it. Additionally, the shoulder tread blocks boost the cornering ability and power by increasing the number of biting edges that grip the road surface during the drive. The upgraded controllability ensures a secure performance.
The boosted road contact also ensures a fuel efficient drive. It effectively lowers the rolling resistance, which is the force affecting the tires that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The decreased rolling resistance in turn reduces the towing vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions and guarantees fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience. The lessened rolling resistance also actively slows the tread wear rate down.
