OVERVIEW

The Carlisle Super Lug is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and garden equipment.

The tire promotes great all terrain traction. The tread pattern's lug design increases the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. In this manner, the tire promotes great off-road traction without harming the grass when driving on turf. The lug design ensures a secure driving experience by firmly gripping the road surface in all weather and on all terrains.

The special stronger tire compound increases the driving safety. The compound prevents punctures, cuts, tears and other off-road damage that may harm the tire's casing. On the other hand, the high void ratio of the lugged pattern manages to maintain a clean footprint. It avoids mud and snow from packing in between the tread elements, while also resisting stone retention which may cause harm to the tire's casing. The better damage resistance ensures a safer driving experience.

The Super Lug features a durable construction. The reinforced construction optimizes the tire's shape. The optimized shape closely follows the road surface and actively resists its deformation under the driving pressure affecting the tires while they are in motion.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
